This Cosmic Chant is mentioned in the 1946 Autobiography of a Yogi as being a composition by Yogananda. This poor chant seems to have been pretty much neglected. The reason for it might be that it is not easy to chant.
LYRICS:
Come, come, listen to my soul call, soul, soul, soul, soul call
Burst the heart, burst the blue,
Burst the heart, burst the blue,
Burst the soul.
Come, Listen to my soul call, soul, soul, soul, soul call.
Hovering over the clouds, lingering over the lea,
Hovering over the clouds, lingering over the lea,
Thou hast come to listen to my soul call, soul, soul, soul, soul call.
WHEN TO USE THIS SONG:
Chant before meditation.
SING ALONG:
Durga Mata sings it on her chant album.
Maybe on this recording this somewhat difficult chant is easier to learn.
